Commitment

Commitment: what SQIP funding builds in Qatar

What SQIP funding builds in Qatar

Applicant: ASKA Digital, the consulting division of ASKA Business Solutions Inc. The instrument: the START track. ASKA asks USD 300,000 to start. Funding is trenched on mutually agreed milestones. The track allows up to USD 1.1M.

Beyond cash, the programme bundles registration and licensing waivers, entrepreneur visas, and subsidised co-working. It also bundles talent and internship support, R&D-grant access, and industry adoption channels. Mentoring, showcase opportunities, and subsidised housing are included.

The build plan

The build plan

What the funding builds. A plan, not promises. Specifics need owner input. Drawn from the six-candidate map the pilots are drawn from.

1. A Doha operating base

Legal setup via the programme's registration channel, co-working-to-office progression, founder/manager resident from month one.

2. A Qatari team

Full-time local hires trained on the Protean operating layer (setup, deployment, review discipline), plus internship/talent-programme participation through the programme's talent support.

3. Two pilot deployments in Qatari industry

Drawn from the industry map (for example, one procurement-catalogue pilot with a manufacturer/contractor, one fleet-telemetry or compute-documentation pilot). Each pilot ships under the governed pipeline (frame → research → architect → design → build → verify → report) with the customer reviewing the delivered result, not a claim.

4. Localisation and R&D

Arabic-language handling in the spirit of Fanar, local-model tuning for on-premise deployment, and contribution back to the open-core kit.

5. Milestone tranches

Funds drawn against the mutually agreed milestones above, consistent with the programme's trenched structure. ASKA asks USD 300,000 to start.
